Through exciting activities and interactive experiences, children will uncover the science behind volcanoes while immersing themselves in a vibrant Māori story that celebrate these magnificent forces of nature.
Learning Outcomes
Learners will:
· Explore the fascinating connections between people and the world of volcanoes through pū rakau
· Name and identify the different parts of a volcano
· Create a scientific erupting volcano
· Learn what to do in an earthquake
· Explore volcanic rocks
· Celebrate learning through song and dance
