This programme is for the following year groups: Years 1-10

Come explore Tīkapa Moana Hauraki Gulf and meet some of the creatures, large and small, who live within it. Ākonga will dive deep into the unique animals of the Hauraki Gulf and the role they play in a healthy marine ecosystem. We will discuss how humans are impacting the Hauraki Gulf and explore what action they can take to be kaitiaki of our special marine environment.

Learning Outcomes
Learners will:
· Discover animals that live in the Hauraki Gulf
· Explore how adaptations of these animals allow them to live in a marine environment
· Examine the relationships between these animals
· Discuss how humans impact these animals and how we can all be kaitiaki of the oceans

Please note: minimum 20 students, maximum 30 students per session
